You’ve probably noticed by now how important we consider organic ingredients to be! ‘Organic’ means that food has been grown in safe and healthy soil and is not genetically modified and this directly affects the quality of the final products. We are committed to purity and, unlike most other teas brands out there at the moment, our products are 100% organic. All our ingredients – the teas, the fruits, the herbs, the spices and the flowers – are all organically grown all over the world. From cultivation and harvesting to blending and packing, we have taken great care to ensure that our teas are free of impurities. This is all guaranteed by our Soil Association certificate.

You may have also noticed the new trend for naming the
country / area of origin for certain goods i.e. cocoa from Equador or clotted cream from Devon . Whilst it looks glamorous there’s also a good reason – certain areas of the world are famous for the high quality of their produce. For example the oranges of Bergamot in Sicily are famous for their exquisite flavour, whilst we’ve found that the best cinnamon is grown in Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon). We source all the best products from all the best regions – it’s time consuming and costs a hefty sum but we know you’ll agree that the final product – the numerous teas in each of our ranges – is wholly worth it.
